Tech Mahindra Inaugurates Manufacturing Experience Center in Chennai

Tech Mahindra, a global provider of technology consulting and digital solutions to enterprises across industries, has announced the opening of an advanced Manufacturing Experience Center at its campus in Sholinganallur, Chennai. The center was inaugurated by Anand Mahindra, Chairman of Mahindra Group, and Mohit Joshi, CEO and Managing Director of Tech Mahindra.

The center will help manufacturers quickly prototype and scale AI-driven innovations to address industry challenges such as high operational costs, process inefficiencies, supply chain disruptions, and complex operational hurdles.

It will also serve as a hub for customers to visualize, test, and validate solutions in a low-risk environment before implementing them on a larger scale, thereby accelerating development cycles by allowing businesses to assess their return on investment and improve operations in a controlled setting.

Mohit Joshi, CEO and Managing Director, Tech Mahindra, said, “The opening of the Manufacturing Experience Center is a pivotal step in our journey to support customers in achieving smart and sustainable manufacturing solutions. It highlights Tech Mahindra’s commitment to investing in innovative capabilities. By showcasing next-gen technologies, the center will enable manufacturers to improve their operational resilience and quickly adapt to future demands.”

The center will feature six industry-specific hubs: Automotive, Aerospace, Industrial, Process, CMM (Construction, Metals & Mining), and Smart Factory Services. These hubs will offer interactive demonstrations showcasing digital transformation journeys, helping manufacturers visualize how technology can boost efficiency and reduce costs. Additionally, the center will also help develop PoCs (Proof of Concepts) and offer an immersive experience with Industry 4.0 technologies, including IoT (Internet of Things), AI/ML (Machine Learning), robotics, AR (Augmented Reality)/VR (Virtual Reality), digital twins, and smart factory systems. Customers will be able to experiment with automation tools, predictive maintenance systems, and real-time analytics platforms.

This center strengthens Tech Mahindra‘s role as a trusted partner in offering advanced digital transformation solutions for the manufacturing sector. The center aims to promote co-innovation and collaboration, empowering manufacturers to build resilient and sustainable operations in an evolving landscape.
